Best Winter Word
Best Pat Cole word
(other contenders: special, cutie, legends)
The Tiekerts also gave away a $75 cash prize to one of ten early bird
registrants: Diana Spiller.
I guess it pays to register early for a Tierkert tournament!
For a 113-contestant, computerless tournament, this year's Danbury
event was a smashing success.
Kudos to Roz Gold, Matt Hopkins, Vernon Jones, and Ted Siegel. I
can honestly say that I've never worked with such a competent,
hard-working tournament crew! How Ron and Susi managed to run a
tournament in CT when they live in GA is still mystifying me!
